Madison Snow has been added as a BMW M Motorsport factory driver ahead of the upcoming IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Confirmed by the German manufacturer on Wednesday, the 2023 GTD champion, who will compete in the GTD Pro class alongside longtime co-driver Bryan Sellers, has come on board as a works pilot for the first time.

Snow and Sellers combined for five class wins last year in their Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT4, including two outright triumphs when factoring in the GTD Pro class competitors.

In addition to Snow, fellow American and BMW legend Bill Auberlen has rejoined the factory roster, while both Colton Herta and John Edwards have departed.

Herta is driving for Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti’s Acura ARX-06 in the Rolex 24 at Daytona while Edwards has retired from professional driving.

With the addition of the previously confirmed Raffaele Marciello, BMW now has a total of 23 factory drivers on its payroll, including second-year works driver Robby Foley and Neil Verhagen, another American pilot.
