Will Stevens and Norman Nato will complete Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing’s lineups for October’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-ending Motul Petit Le Mans, it has been announced.

The two Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA drivers, who are coming off a historic first victory for Cadillac in the FIA World Endurance Championship, will pilot WTR’s Nos. 10 and 40 Cadillac V-Series.Rs in the ten-hour enduro at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

While Stevens had driven the No. 10 alongside full-season drivers Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque in both the Rolex 24 at Daytona and Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, it will mark the Englishman’s first time with the team at Petit Le Mans.

Nato, meanwhile, will make his WTR debut, taking the seat occupied by Kamui Kobayashi in the Rolex 24 and Brendon Hartley at Sebring.

Alex Lynn, a Cadillac factory driver, was due to contest both races for the No. 40 Cadillac but withdrew from Daytona due to an undisclosed illness. Lynn has since gone onto complete the WEC season with the JOTA, scoring two poles and helping take the team to its recent win in the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo.

“Delighted to have Will back on board and to welcome Norman to our team for Petit Le Mans,” said team owner Wayne Taylor. “It is great to have the drivers in place and ready to attend the Road Atlanta test in early September.

“As Cadillac factory drivers, they will both be a great addition to our effort at Petit.”

Stevens was previously announced in contesting the three long-distance WeatherTech Championship races with the No. 10 team.

“I’m really looking forward to Petit Le Mans and getting back with everyone at Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing,” he said. “It’s my first time at Road Atlanta so the test coming up in a few weeks is going to be vital for me to get to grips with the track but also as a team with our Cadillac V-Series.R.

“The team has been making good progress through the IMSA season so I can’t wait to get back to it.”

Nato, meanwhile, will be making his first WeatherTech Championship start since a one-off appearance with Extreme Speed Motorsports in 2018 at Petit Le Mans.

“I really enjoyed the track; very challenging, which will make the race very exciting,” he said. “The main target always remains to finish on top. We will work and prepare as best as possible to achieve our common goals with the team.

“The test in September will be important for me to get comfortable in the car, seat fitting-wise first and then to adapt to the team and my teammates.

“I quite know the car now as I race with the Cadillac V-Series in WEC with Hertz Team JOTA. My job will be to adapt to the team as quickly as possible to be able to deliver the best pace I can to help the team.”
