Triarsi Competizione will add a second car to its IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD program next year, the team has announced.

The No. 021 Ferrari 296 GT3 will tackle all WeatherTech Championship rounds, while its current No. 023 car is set to continue as an Endurance Cup-only entry.

The Orlando-based squad made its series debut last year, having previously competed in Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS.

“Our entire team is thrilled to bring a second GTD Ferrari for 2025,” said team principal and driver Onofrio Triarsi.

“Racing is a passion that drives us all at Triarsi Competizione, and expanding our presence on the IMSA grid only fuels that excitement.

“Personally, seeing our team grow while pushing the boundaries of performance is incredibly rewarding.

“This second entry is a testament to our commitment to the sport and to competing at the highest level.”

Of note, the team has stated that the No. 021 car will feature a female driver as part of the lineup, while Samantha Spires will oversee both entries as part of her role as team manager.

“We’re thrilled not only to expand our footprint in IMSA but also to support a team structure that supports the future of racing” added Triarsi.

“Having a talented female driver paired with a female team manager is a rare and powerful combination in the paddock, and we’re excited to see the impact they will make.”

The entries were confirmed by IMSA on Thursday afternoon.
