Turner Motorsport will run a split livery on its BMW M4 GT3 EVO in next weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, marking the second time the team has made such a design, but the first that showcases its two typical liveries that it utilizes on a rotating basis.
Revealed on Tuesday, the Will Turner-led team took the wraps off the unique concept, which combines its traditional yellow and blue colors on the right-side of the car with the predominately white blue and red Liqui Moly design on the left.
The No. 96 entry will be driven in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season opener by the returning season-long pairing of Robby Foley and Patrick Gallagher, with former VP Racing SportsCar Challenge GSX champion Francis Selldorff stepping up for the Michelin Endurance Cup races.
Longtime BMW driver Jens Klingmann completes the lineup for the Florida endurance classic.
Turner’s first split livery came in the 2021 Michelin Pilot Challenge race at Sebring International Raceway (pictured below) when the team’s BMW M4 GT4 sported its traditional yellow and blue along with the zebra-inspired colors used by the BS+ Competition esports league that Foley is also part of.
