Giedo van der Garde and Josh Pierson have signed with TDS Racing for the French team’s first full season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship next year.
Van der Garde is set to share the No. 35 Oreca 07 Gibson with Bronze-rated driver Francois Heriau at all seven rounds of the LMP2 season, while Pierson will join for the Michelin Endurance Cup races.
The lineup will be completed at a later date with the announcement of a fourth driver for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
TDS is stepping up to the full LMP2 season with two cars after running Racing Team Nederland’s Endurance Cup program this year.
Van der Garde was part of that lineup and also previously drove for the Nederland entry when it contested the FIA World Endurance Championship with TDS support.
Pierson, meanwhile, joins the Jacques Morello and Xavier Combet-led team after racing full-time with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports in the IMSA LMP2 class.
The American teenager, who became the youngest driver at the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year, also represented United Autosports in the WEC.
