Visit Florida Racing received its Riley Mk. 30 Gibson and completed a shakedown with the new-for-2017 LMP2 car at Carolina Motorsports Park on Saturday.
The Troy Flis-led team announced last month it would run the Riley-Gibson, ending months of rumors tying it to several different manufacturers.
This made it one of few high-profile IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Prototype teams to choose an LMP2 car over DPi machinery for the 2017 season.
Full-season drivers Renger van der Zande and Marc Goossens were present at the South Carolina circuit on Saturday to take their first laps in the car ahead of this week’s December Test at Daytona International Speedway.
The photos, provided by the team, are the first of the Multimatic-Riley LMP2 car, following the unveil of the Riley-based Mazda RT24-P last month.
