Mark Wilkins and Tom Dyer have been confirmed as the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup drivers for Michael Shank Racing’s Acura NSX GT3 effort in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Both Silver-rated drivers join the previously confirmed full-season driver lineup of Ozz Negri, Katherine Legge, Andy Lally and Jeff Segal in the pair of GT Daytona class contenders.

Driver pairings, and lineups, for each of the cars have not yet been determined.

Wilkins and Dyer will also be part of RealTime Racing’s Acura NSX GT3 Pirelli World Challenge effort for the yet-to-be-finalized SprintX races.

“Both Mark and Tom will be strong additions to our endurance racing efforts with the Acura NSX GT3,” said Lee Niffenegger, senior program engineer for Honda Performance Development.

“They bring skill sets and endurance racing experience that will benefit the program, and mesh well with the full-season drivers in both series.”

Wilkins brings a long list of GT and endurance racing accomplishments to the program, including Prototype Challenge class wins at the 2016 12 Hours of Sebring, 2014 Rolex 24, and 2012 Petit Le Mans, all with CORE autosport.

Dyer, 38, has experience in junior open-wheel racing categories, NASCAR, oval track midgets and the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge series.

The team’s final two drivers for the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona, widely believed to be Honda-backed IndyCar pilots, will be announced at a later date.
