Yifei Ye will make his IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship debut, joining Triarsi Competizione’s GTD effort for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

The Ferrari factory driver has been confirmed as the fourth and final driver aboard the No. 023 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo, joining Onofrio Triarsi, Kenton Koch and Robert Megennis.

It will be the Chinese racer’s first outing in the Florida endurance classic and his first 24-hour appearance with the Prancing Horse in anything other than the 499P Hypercar.

Ye has made several one-off appearances at the wheel of Ferrari’s GT3 car since joining the brand, most notably in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup as well as two starts in the FIA GT World Cup in Macau.

He is also the only driver aboard the No. 023 car to have not driven for Triarsi before, while the other three formed part of its GTD lineup at various stages this past season.

Team regular Triarsi started the year in the No. 023 car before switching to the sister No. 021 machine for the closing part of the campaign, while Koch came on board in the second half of the season after Korthoff Competition Motors dropped off the grid.

Megennis, meanwhile, continues on with the team after first joining for October’s Motul Petit Le Mans, which came after he contested the sprint race portion of the WeatherTech Championship season with Gradient Racing.

The New York native will make his return to the Rolex 24 for the first time since 2023, when he drove for NTE Sport.

Triarsi will field a pair of Ferraris at Daytona, revealing a star-studded lineup for its GTD Pro effort late last month.
