A season-high 19 entries are set to take part in this weekend’s penultimate event of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America season at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
The entry list for Rounds 9 and 10 of the season sees the return of Taylor Proto to the series, as part of a record six-car entry from US RaceTronics.
The California-based team has added three Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVOs for its home event, with Proto rejoining the Pro class in the No. 50 entry alongside a pair of Am class entries for Brian Thienes and the driver pairing of Mel Johnson and Jon Hirshberg.
Wayne Taylor Racing’s No. 53 Lamborghini, which has yet to nominate its driver, also appears set to compete in the Am class, which has grown from a single entry to four for the Laguna weekend.
LB Cup has also seen growth despite the absence of Change Racing’s Matt Dicken, with TPC Racing fielding a second entry for Scott Schmidt and Trevor Andrusko.
It is alongside the team’s No. 74 entry of Tom Kerr, which debuted in the second round of the season at Virginia International Raceway in August.
ANSA Motorsports, another newcomer to the single-make series this year, will have single-driver lineups this weekend with Neil Alberico and Patrick Otto-Madsen not listed in the Nos. 19 and 99 entries, respectively.
Madison Snow leads the Pro class championship entering the weekend, with the Change Racing driver at a 11-point advantage over the US RaceTronics duo of Steven Aghakhani and Jacob Eidson.
Track action kicks off on Friday, with qualifying on Saturday morning and the first of the 50-minute races set for 1:40 p.m. PT. The second race is scheduled for Sunday at 10:25 a.m PT on Sunday, with both races streamed live on IMSA.tv and IMSA Radio.
