Super Trofeo Europe Returns to Fanatec GT Support Bill in 2025

Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe will return to the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS support bill next year, featuring a headline round as part of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa event.

The series switched to move to the package for the FIA World Endurance Championship for three rounds this year, including at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in order to align itself with the debuting Lamborghini Iron Lynx Hypercar effort.

However, that decision is due to be reversed with the series now entirely taking place as a support act for five Fanatec GT Europe rounds.

The season kicks off at Paul Ricard on April 11-13, following by a first appearance at Monza since 2021 and a spot on the support bill for the 24H Spa on June 27-29.

Further rounds take place at the Nürburgring and Barcelona ahead of a finale as part of a yet-to-be-determined venue during the traditional end-of-season Lamborghini World Finals event.

The North American calendar features no notable changes compared to the 2024 schedule, although the date and location for the fourth round remain yet to be determined.

That slot on the calendar was occupied this year by Circuit of The Americas, which saw the series form part of the support bill for the WEC’s Lone Star Le Mans event.

On the contrary, the schedule for Super Trofeo Asia has been significantly overhauled, with the season opener now taking place at Sydney Motorsport Park on April 4-6.

Sepang International Circuit, which was previously the curtain raiser, is now instead the penultimate round prior to the World Finals. Fuji Speedway, meanwhile, moves from August to June.
