Sebring International Raceway will serve as the kickoff round for next year’s Mustang Challenge, as part of a revised schedule for the IMSA-sanctioned single-make series.

Announced on Friday, the six points-paying event season will welcome the 3.7-mile Florida circuit, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and Virginia International Raceway to the calendar, with Road America and Circuit of The Americas returning from this year’s inaugural season.

The final round of the season, which takes places at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this year, has yet to be announced for 2025.

Additionally, the series will have an optional, non-points paying round at Circuit de la Sarthe, as a support event for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.

The new-for-2024 series kicked off at Mid-Ohio in June this year, as part of a mid-year launch that has included stops at Watkins Glen International and Road America.

Ford Performance will maintain its prize structure for next year, with the Dark Horse class champions either receiving a $40,000 cash prize or a $100,000 scholarship towards a Mustang GT3 or Mustang GT4 seat in 2026.

Those finishing second and third in the Dark Horse championship will receive cash payouts of $20,000 and $10,000, respectively, with the Dark Horse Legends champion to be awarded a $20,000 prize or a test day in a Mustang GT4.

Additionally, tire partner Michelin will support the Mustang racing ladder with an overall championship prize of a set of tires per weekend for any driver racing a Mustang Dark Horse R, Mustang GT4 or Mustang GT3 in a Michelin-shod series the following year.

June 12-14 — Le Mans Invitational (Non-Points)
Aug. 1-3 — Road America
