IMSA and Sonic Tools today announced a multiyear agreement that presents SONIC Tools as the Official Hand Tool Supplier of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship (to become the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship beginning in 2016) and Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge.
Sonic Tools, whose U.S. headquarters is located in Auburn, Alabama, is the market-leading tool brand in Europe and is now debuting in the U.S. market as a partner with IMSA.
SONIC Tools is introducing its precision-crafted products during the Sept. 17 – 19 Lone Star Le Mans weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.
The SONIC Tools team will have a presence in the IMSA paddock, providing support for the dedicated engineers and crew members who are responsible for the race cars of the TUDOR Championship and Continental Tire Challenge.
Race fans and spectators will also be able to “test-drive” SONIC’s hand tools and unique storage systems at each IMSA event, starting with COTA.
