Vincent Abril will remain an AF Corse-contracted driver for a second consecutive season, the Italian squad has confirmed.

The Monegasque driver signed up with the Ferrari-affiliated squad last year before embarking on a season of GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup.

He formed the lineup for the No. 71 Ferrari 296 GT3 alongside fellow AF Corse signee David Vidales and Ferrari factory driver Thomas Neubauer.

At Monza, Abril moved across to the sister No. 51 car to replace Davide Rigon due to an IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship clash, captured pole position and helped the team finish third overall.

“I am very pleased to be able to continue and expand my role within AF Corse, a team synonymous with great success,” said Abril.

“In 2024 we showed great potential, achieving two overall poles, two wins and several podiums, and I’m eager to compete for more with this extended partnership that fulfils me in every aspect.

“Finally, I want to thank all AF Corse team for their renewed and constant trust. Forza AF!”

Abril’s program will be revealed “in the coming weeks,” AF Corse wrote in a statement.
