Lamborghini Unveils Temerario Super Trofeo

Lamborghini has unveiled the Temerario Super Trofeo, its new single-make racing platform that will make its competitive debut in global championships from 2027.

Presented at the brand’s annual end-of-season World Finals event at Misano, the Temerario Super Trofeo becomes the sixth model in Lamborghini’s single-make fleet since the launch of the Squadra Corse customer racing division.

The car will act as the successor to the currently active Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, which was introduced in 2022 and will remain active until the end of the 2026 season.

The Temerario Super Trofeo will be powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a power output of 640 horsepower, derived from the roadgoing Temerario but with the hybrid element of the drivetrain removed.

The Super Trofeo also shares its engine with the Temerario GT3 that will make its competitive debut in next year’s Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, while the gearbox has also been carried over as part of a six-speed sequential transmission.

The new car has also been fitted ALU/CFK hybrid chassis with a fully integrated FIA roll cage, ABS braking and a 12-point adjustable traction control system.

“We created a car that is the pure racing evolution of the road going Temerario.

“Thanks to its direct link to the Temerario GT3, which shares many components, including the engine and gearbox — it is the ideal entry point for those eager to experience the world of GT competition.”
