BBM Sport has taken delivery of a pair of wingless Peugeot 9X8s ahead of the team’s planned privateer Hypercar entry in the 2026-27 Asian Le Mans Series season.

A video posted to social media by the Bob Berridge-led operation shows the two cars, still in the livery with which they competed across 2023 and 2024, being loaded into a truck for transport to the team’s U.K. base.

As previously reported by Sportscar365, BBM is plotting to run up to two cars in the Asian championship next year, with Greek Bronze-rated racer Kriton Lendoudis named as the first driver.

BBM already had previous involvement in Peugeot’s current factory FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar operation and also campaigns older machinery from the French manufacturer in historic racing.

Berridge has indicated that the team’s Hypercar effort is set to receive operational support from an existing sports car racing effort, as well as technical support from Peugeot Sport.
