FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar stars Antonio Fuoco and Charles Milesi will join Roberto Lacorte in Cetilar Racing’s Oreca 07 Gibson for its LMP2 return the upcoming Asian Le Mans Series season.

Confirmed on Friday, the Italian squad, run by AF Corse, will retain Ferrari factory driver Fuoco in its lineup, while drafting in Alpine WEC race winner Milesi for the 2025/26 campaign, which kicks off at Sepang International Circuit in December.

Cetilar last competed in the LMP2 class in 2021 before switching to the WEC GTE-Am ranks, prior to a refocused effort on the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup rounds with the Ferrari 296 GT3 over the last two seasons.

It will now return to prototype racing, with an eye on securing an auto-invite to next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans by winning the class title in the Asian championship.

“We are ready to face several challenges at once,” said Lacorte. “First, to earn the 2026 entry for Le Mans 24h. Then the switch from GT to LMP2, a category in which we return with a great car, one that demands extreme driving conditions in terms of speed and g-force, with a configuration that offers a lot of power combined with limited weight.

“Before the opening round, we have planned five days of testing, which will give us great confidence. Last but not least, the two drivers joining me are the very best one could hope for in the global endurance racing scenario.”

The team has already completed two days of its pre-season test program earlier this week at Portimao.

“I’m excited to begin a new chapter of my journey with Cetilar Racing, a team I’m particularly attached to,” said Fuoco. “The Asian Le Mans Series is undoubtedly a very stimulating challenge, and it will be interesting to tackle it with an LMP2 car.”

Milesi added: “Obviously, I’m super happy to be racing with Cetilar Racing and AF Corse. It will be my first time in the Asian Le Mans Series, and it will also be exciting to discover circuits I have never been to before, such as Sepang, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

“I think we have an excellent crew to fight for the top positions, with the main goal of winning the championship.”
