Memo Gidley will make his Asian Le Mans Series debut as part of Kessel Racing’s two-car Ferrari lineup, the Swiss squad has announced.
Gidley, who picked up three race victories in GT America powered by AWS this past season, will share the No. 15 Ferrari 296 GT3 with Dylan Medler and Prancing Horse stalwart Alessandro Balzan.
The team has described the entry as a partnership between Kessel and Project IV Motorsports, which is the racing team representing both Ferrari of Miami as well as The Collection, a luxury car dealership located in South Florida.
Medler, who was the only driver named for the No. 15 car when the initial full season entry list was released in September, has successfully competed under The Collection’s banner in Ferrari Challenge North America.
Meanwhile, the sister No. 74 Ferrari will entirely consist of championship winners in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS as Bronze-rated driver Dustin Blattner teams up with Dennis Marschall and Chris Lulham.
Blattner and Marschall completed a clean sweep of Bronze Cup titles driving for Kessel in both Sprint and Endurance Cup, while Lulham performed the same feat in Gold Cup with Emil Frey Racing and Verstappen dot com Racing.
Lulham is coming to the end of a successful first season in GT3 racing, which included a dominant NLS9 victory driving alongside mentor and four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen.
