Mikkel Jensen and Giorgio Roda will complete the lineup in United Autosport’s No. 5 Oreca 07 Gibson for the upcoming 2025-26 Asian Le Mans Series season, joining the previously confirmed Gregoire Saucy in the team’s second LMP2 entry.

The news comes after the finalization of the sister No. 6 entry, which will be driven by Paul di Resta, Ben Hanley and Phil Fayer in the season that kicks off next month at Sepang International Circuit.

Sepang will mark the race debuts for both ex-Peugeot factory driver Jensen and Bronze-rated Roda with the Richard Dean and Zak Brown-owned team.

Both Jensen, who has been heavily linked to the United-run factory McLaren Hypercar effort in the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship, and Saucy, will also compete for the team in January’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.

“We’ve been competitors for the last six seasons in LMP2 and now we are joining forces,” said Jensen. “I’m looking forward to beginning the season in Malaysia next month and will do my best to try and win a Le Mans 24 Hours entry for the team.”

Roda added: “The team has been a strong reference in LMP2 for a long time, and after showing great pace and consistency last season, I’m really looking forward to getting started.

“The target is to be competitive and fight at the front. The level is always high, but with United Autosports and my teammates, I’m confident we can do a solid job together.”

The Anglo-American team will also field a McLaren 720S GT3 Evo in the series, with Wayne Boyd so far the only announced driver.

“We are going to the Asian Le Mans Series with a clear aim to win the championship with the strongest driver lineups, strongest crew and fastest cars,” added Dean.

“These driver signings are three very strong statements of intent.”
