The 2015 European Le Mans Series schedule was revealed Saturday, featuring a return to all five of this year’s venues, while also retaining four-hour races and the two-day weekend format.
The season will again kick off at Silverstone in April alongside the opening round of the FIA World Endurance Championship before heading to Imola in mid-May.
The Four Hours of Red Bull Ring will again take place in July, with stops at Paul Ricard and Estoril completing the championship. Paul Ricard will also again play host to the official pre-season test in late March.
“The 2015 provisional calendar represents stability for our teams and partners and returning to the same five venues at the same time of year allows us to build awareness of the events,” said ELMS CEO Gerard Neveu.
“The four hour races have also proved to be popular with our partners and stakeholders and therefore the race weekends in 2015 will continue with the same format over two days.
“However we are not standing still. We will continue to work hard to promote and improve each of the five events, underlining the ELMS as the premier sportscar series in Europe.”
