Krohn Racing’s new Ligier JS P2 Judd has broken cover, as the new LMP2 contender takes part in a two-day shakedown at Estoril this week.
Both Tracy Krohn and Nic Jonsson, along with the Texas-based team are at the Portuguese circuit on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a further test scheduled at Circuit of The Americas later this year.
It marks the first Ligier to be fitted with a Judd powerplant, following Nissan and Honda engines in the Onroak Automotive-developed car earlier this year.
Krohn has yet to announce its full 2015 program although it will start the year off at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and Twelve Hours of Sebring.
It’s expected the team will contest the European Le Mans Series and/or select FIA World Endurance Championship races as well.
