Roy Nissany will make his sports car racing debut, having signed on with Duqueine Team’s LMP2 effort in the European Le Mans Series.

The 30-year-old joins the French squad to pilot its No. 30 Oreca 07 Gibson, driving alongside Reshad de Gerus and Francesco Simonazzi.

Nissany moves into LMP2 after a lengthy tenure in junior single seaters, which included five seasons in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. He was also previously a test driver for the Williams Formula 1 team.

De Gerus, meanwhile, returns to Duqueine after a two-year absence. The Frenchman broke into LMP2 as a Silver-rated driver with the team in 2022 and subsequently drove for Cool Racing and IDEC Sport.

Simonazzi is set to take up the role of the mandatory Silver-rated driver, joining the team after previously competing in Euroformula Open and contesting three rounds of the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Rodin Carlin in 2023.

The ELMS season kicks off with the 4 Hours of Barcelona on April 6.
