Race Performance will return to the European Le Mans Series this year after a one-year absence, with the Swiss squad set to expand into the LMP3 ranks along with its existing LMP2 program.
The newly crowned Asian Le Mans Series champions will enter its Oreca 03R Judd, as well as a new Ligier JS P3 in the six-round championship, which kicks off at Silverstone in April.
The team already has a confirmed entry to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in LMP2, via its Asian LMS title.
“Race Performance, together with its partners, is ahead of a huge program in the 2016 season”, said Michel Frey.
“I am really happy about all the new tasks which are ahead of us and which we will face in our typical professional way, hopefully successful.”
Drivers have yet to be announced for the dual-class program, as well as word on whether the team will return to Asian LMS for the 2016/2017 season.
