Lilou Wadoux has signed a multi-year contract extension with Ferrari to continue as a factory driver for the Italian manufacturer.
The 24-year-old Frenchwoman first became a works pilot in 2023, and has since contested more than 30 races at the wheel of Ferrari GT3 machinery around the world.
She will again focus her efforts on the European Le Mans Series and IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup this year, having already been confirmed to defend her GTD class Endurance Cup title in AF Corse’s No. 21 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo.
Wadoux, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Simon Mann were crowned Endurance Cup drivers’ champions last year.
The former FIA World Endurance Championship GTE-Am class winner, who became the first female to win in the series, was also the first woman to score a podium finish in SUPER GT competition when driving a Ponos Racing-entered Ferrari 296 GT3 in the GT300 class two years ago.
“Continuing my journey with Ferrari makes me happy and proud,” said Wadoux. “In my first three years as an official driver for the ‘Prancing Horse’ I have always felt part of an extraordinary family.
“During this period, moreover, I achieved some important race successes and an IMSA title that means a great deal to me: the aim is to continue along this path to achieve many more victories, continuing to write motorsport pages with Ferrari.”
Ferrari’s global head of endurance Antonello Coletta added: “Over this three-year period our driver has shown significant growth, which has led her to achieve victories in different championships, as well as to win a title in a demanding and very important series such as the IMSA.
“We are confident the future will bring many more successes.”
Wadoux’s first race of the season will be next weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona, where she will team up with Mann, Antonio Fucoco and Tommaso Mosca in AF Corse’s GTD entry in the Florida endurance classic.
