A total of 31 cars are set to take part in next weekend’s Six Hours of Fuji, the sixth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
While the number of entries remains unchanged from the championship’s recent visit to Circuit of The Americas, there are a number of revisions in driver lineups, in all four categories.
ENTRY LIST: Six Hours of Fuji
Nick Heidfeld is set to miss the Japanese round, with the No. 12 Rebellion R-One AER only featuring a two-driver lineup.
As previously revealed by Sportscar365, Chris Cumming will join Team SARD-Morand’s Morgan-Judd entry in LMP2, while Stefan Muecke returns after missing the COTA round, but is now in the No. 99 Aston Martin entry.
Muecke fills in for Richie Stanaway, who will be on GP2 duty that weekend. Jonny Adam again pairs with Darren Turner in the German’s former seat in GTE-Pro.
As predicted, Earl Bamber will continue in the Abu-Dhabi Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR in GTE-Am, while Bronze-rated Liam Griffin will make his series debut in the No. 96 Aston Martin, filling in for Roald Goethe.
Finally, 19-year-old Dane Nicolai Sylvest is set for his first outing in Larbre Competition’s Corvette C7.R, subbing for Kristan Poulsen, who has business commitments.
The Six Hours of Fuji is set for Oct. 9-11.
