Former American Le Mans Series and Indy Lights racer Peter Dempsey will make his FIA World Endurance Championship debut with TF Sport, as the British squad locks in the driver lineups for its third season with Corvette in the LMGT3 class.
Dempsey, hailing from Ireland, will share the No. 34 Racing Team Turkey by TF Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R with Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood.
The 39-year-old is the owner of the Turn 3 Motorsport team competing in USF Pro 2000 and previously raced in American junior single seaters himself, most notably in Indy Lights (now IndyNXT) from 2011 to 2013.
A regular competitor in Formula Ford and the Walter Hayes Trophy, Dempsey has relatively little top-level sports car racing experience, but did contest the 2010 edition of Motul Petit Le Mans at the wheel of a Libra Racing Radical SR9.
He will be paired up with the returning Yoluc, who most notably formed part of the lineup that took TF’s maiden 24 Hours of Le Mans class win in 2020.
The No. 33 Corvette, meanwhile, will feature the lineup of Nicky Catsburg, Jonny Edgar and Ben Keating, with Catsburg replacing Genesis-bound Daniel Juncadella.
In the process, Catsburg and Keating will be reunited for the first time since their highly successful 2023 season, in which they took the GTE-Am class win at Le Mans en route to championship success.
