The Peugeot 9X8 has completed an initial rollout ahead of the car’s debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2022.

In an image released by the French automaker on Saturday, the car appears to have some sort of rear wing attached, although details are still unknown.

The photo has been modified to potentially cover up details of the rear-end, with the inclusion of a “Team Peugeot TotalEnergies” graphic at the back of the car.

Peugeot unveiled the wingless 9X8 in July, although admitted at the time that changes could still be made to the design of the car prior to its competition debut following validation testing.

It’s unclear where the car completed its shakedown although it’s understood to be somewhere in Europe.
