Black Falcon Team 48 Losch took victory in the inaugural Michelin 992 Endurance Cup powered by Porsche Motorsport, finishing a lap clear of their nearest rival.
Porsche Carrera Cup North America points leader Loek Hartog and Ford Performance factory driver Christopher Mies spearheaded a run for the No. 48 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup that saw the car, also driven by Tobias Mueller and Noah Nagelsdiek, lead 212 of the 276 completed laps.
They finished a lap clear of the No. 8 car of Jan Jaap van Roon, Tom Coronel, Paul Meijer and Benjamin Leuchter while the No. 9 Red-Camel Jordans.nl crew completed the overall top three.
The 12-hour contest around the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps was exclusively open to current-gen Porsche single-make machinery and was organized by Hankook 24H Series organizers Creventic.
While the winning Black Falcon crew enjoyed an effectively trouble-free run to the checkered flag, the second place entry from Max Kruse Racing fought back from electrical issues to convert pole position into a podium finish.
The No. 8 Porsche dropped outside the top 20 after the team had managed to address an issue that had seen Meijer repeatedly lose power steering and ABS.
Ralph Poppelaars, Jop Rappange and Hans Weijs took the Pro-Am win aboard the No. 33 Tierra Outdoor Racing by HWM Porsche and were classified after a significant post-race penalty for Neuhofer Rennsport.
The Pro-entered No. 86 machine driven by Felix Neuhofer, Alfred Renauer, Robert Renauer and Martin Ragginger overcame an early puncture and a drive-through penalty for a track limit infringement to originally finish fourth.
However, a drive time infringement saw the team handed an eight-lap deduction that dropped it back down to 16th overall.
Muehlner Motorsport finished fifth overall after Jeroen Bleekemolen, Martin Rump and Fabio Grosse were delayed by a refueling-related stop-go penalty.
They came home ahead of Belgium Racing and the second Max Kruse Racing entry of Marcel Fugel, Dominik Fugel, Nico Otto and Benjamin Leuchter while QMMF by HRT’s No. 31 car driven by Abdulla Ali Al Khelaif, Ghanim Al Ali, Ibrahim Al Abdulghani and Julian Hanses picked up the Am-class win.
The overall top ten was completed by the No. 98 Belgium Racing Porsche and Neuhofer Rennsport’s Am-class entry.
