A trio of former overall winners of the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai have joined Konrad Motorsport in a bid for a repeat victory in the Middle East’s most prestigious endurance race.
Rolf Ineichen, Mark Ineichen and Adrian Amstutz have been confirmed in Konrad’s new Lamborghini Huracán GT3, which will make its debut in the hands of the German squad in the Jan. 15-16 race.
The Ineichen’s, along with fellow Swiss Amstutz teamed with Marcel Matter and Porsche Supercup standout Christian Engelhart for victory in the 2014 race at the wheel of a Stadler Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3-R.
They are now set for a switch to the V10-powered Lamborghini, as part of a planned multi-championship effort for the Konrad team.
It will include a full-season effort in the Blancpain Endurance Series, as well as the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup rounds in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
