Dubai-based supercar builder Rossa will make its sports car racing debut in next month’s Michelin 24H Dubai with an entry operated by French LMP2 stalwarts Graff.
The car, named the Rossa LM GT, will be entered into the GTX class, which is open to GT cars with a performance around GT2 level and often features or unhomologated vehicles.
It is set to go up against the Australian-built IRC GT as well as longtime Michelin 24H Series competitors Vortex.
Driving duties for the No. 797 car will be shared between former FIA World Endurance Championship LMP2 racer Roman Rusinov, Evgeny Kireev and Harrison Newey.
Newey, who took a Rolex 24 at Daytona LMP2 class victory with DragonSpeed in 2020, returns to sports car racing for the first time since he wrapped up his sole DTM season with Team WRT in the same year.
