Team WRT has confirmed its two-car Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II effort for this weekend’s Hankook 24H Dubai.
The Belgian squad will again partner with Saudi Arabian outfit MS7 with its No. 7 entry that will be driven by reigning Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Sprint Cup champion Dries Vanthoor, fellow Audi Sport factory driver Christopher Mies as well as Mohammed Al Saud and Thomas Neubauer.
The No. 31 car, running under the full WRT banner, meanwhile, will feature factory ace Frederic Vervisch, Benjamin Goethe, Arnold and Maxime Robin and Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer.
The Vincent Vosse-led outfit won the race in its debut in 2016 and has been a regular participant since.
A total of 28 GT3 cars, spread between the GT3, GT3 Pro-Am and GT3-Am classes are provisionally entered for the 24H Series season-opener.
