Walkenhorst Motorsport will make its first Michelin 24H Dubai appearance in a decade with a single-car Aston Martin GT3 effort.
The German squad has been added to an expanded GT3 grid for the event as shown on an updated entry list issued by series organizers Creventic on Tuesday.
No drivers have yet been announced for the No. 36 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, which now forms part of a 36-car GT3 grid for the event.
Walkenhorst’s last outing in the Dubai enduro dates back to 2014, when it fielded a BMW Z4 GT3 and finished sixth overall with Henry Walkenhorst, Ralf Oeverhaus, Daniela Schmid, Jens Richter and Claudia Huertgen as part of the driver crew.
Aston Martin, meanwhile, returns to the grid for the first time since 2022 after the brand went absent in both 2023 and 2024.
Walkenhorst joins fellow Aston Martin squad Comtoyou Racing in giving the updated Vantage GT3 its event debut, while British squad Blackthorn fields a single non-Evo example.
