Todd Coleman, Aaron Telitz and Frederik Schandorff will return to Optimum Motorsport for the upcoming Gulf 12 Hours.
The three drivers will share the No. 69 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo for the twelve-hour race at Yas Marina Circuit, reuniting for the first time since September’s 24H Barcelona.
There, they captured pole position and led a chunk of the race together with Robert Megennis before they encountered throttle pedal issues and fuel pressure problems.
“I’m super excited to be back in the Optimum McLaren for the Gulf 12 Hours and competing against some of the best GT drivers from around the world,” said Coleman.
“We immediately came together as a team and driver lineup in Barcelona. I’m looking forward to building on that experience as we take on the Yas Marina Circuit.”
Optimum enters the event as reigning Pro-Am winners, having triumphed last year with a McLaren driven by Rob Bell, Ollie Millroy and Mark Radcliffe.
“It’s great to have Todd, Aaron, and Fred racing with us again,” said team principal Shaun Goff.
“They claimed pole position for their first race together back in September, so I’m eager to see what they can do this time around at the Yas Marina Circuit.”
