Mercedes-AMG teams completed a Free Practice sweep at the Gulf 12 Hours as Grove Racing by GetSpeed topped the third and final session at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Brenton Grove reeled off a 1:52.832 aboard the No. 4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo to lead the session, 0.332 seconds quicker than the No. 21 HAAS RT Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II in the hands of Steven Palette.

Frederik Schandorff took third in the No. 70 Inception Racing Ferrari 296 GT3, followed by the No. 13 CapitalRT by Motopark Mercedes-AMG of Adam Christodoulou.

The No. 2 Into Africa Racing by HAAS RT Audi piloted  by Axcil Jefferies completed the top five, ahead of  Tigani Motorsport’s No. 44 Mercedes-AMG in the hands of Jayden Ojeda,

Ben Tuck took seventh in the No. 77 Al Manar by Dragon Ferrari 296 GT3, followed by the No. 17 Enrico Fulgenzi Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R and the No. 69 Optimum Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 Evo of Aaron Telitz.

The overall top ten was rounded out by Gabriele Piana in the No. 81 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG.

Garage 59 completed a clean sweep of the GT3-Am category across all three practice sessions.

19 out of 20 cars set times during the final, two-hour session, with the No. 16 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG sitting out the session in order to prepare the car for Sunday’s twelve-hour race.

Next up at Yas Marina Circuit is qualifying, which kicks off at 6 p.m. GST (9 a.m. ET).
