Kessel Racing led the way again in Free Practice 3 for the Gulf 12 Hours, with the No. 11 Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 topping the time charts in an incident-filled and shortened session.
A 2:11.037 lap time by the Davide Rigon, Michael Broniszewski and Giacomo Piccini edged out the No. 2 Black Falcon Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 by 0.629 seconds.
The No. 44 Oman Racing Team Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 completed the top-three overall and in the GT3 class.
The session saw two red flags, the first for an accident by the No. 88 Dragon Racing Ferrari, and the second for a spin by Jack Gerber in the No. 55 AF Corse Ferrari, which damaged a barrier.
Repair work to the barrier brought the session to an early end, with FP3 starting 10 minutes early to give teams additional track time.
