The preliminary entry list for next month’s Nürburgring 24 has been released, featuring 150 cars for the 46th running of the German endurance classic.
As expected, the race will feature a heavy influence of factory or works-supported GT3 cars from Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche, as well as numerous privateer efforts, including privately entered Lamborghini Huracan GT3 and Ferrari 488 GT3s.
ENTRY LIST: Nürburgring 24
The SP-X class, reserved for non-homologated GT3-based machinery, sees entries from last year’s overall pole-sitting Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus squad, as well as a Renault RS01 that features Kuno Wittmer as part of the lineup.
Three-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Andre Lotterer, meanwhile, is set for his N24 debut in a Porsche 911 GT3 R entered by KÜS Team 75 Bernhard, which is one of five GT3-spec Porsches entered.
Seven Audi R8 LMS GT3 cars are due to take part, alongside a single GT4-spec Audi entered by Phoenix Racing.
In addition to the five BMW M6 GT3s and seven Mercedes-AMG GT3s, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 is expected to make its final N24 race appearance, with an all-factory crewed lineup.
A total of 29 cars are listed in SP9-GT3, alongside seven cars in SP10 for SRO GT4-spec machinery.
The race is scheduled for May 12-13.
