An eight-race schedule for the 2026 SUPER GT season has been revealed, featuring only minor changes compared to the 2025 version.
Published on Tuesday by Japanese national federation JAF, the calendar features the same roster of six domestic circuits, plus Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit.
Fuji Speedway remains the only circuit with multiple dates, retaining its traditional Golden Week fixture in May and the fourth round of the season in early August.
Okayama, Suzuka, Sugo, Autopolis and Motegi will all host a single race apiece.
The only significant changes in terms of dates are Sepang being moved a week earlier, to avoid a clash with the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa as explained last weekend by GTA chairman Masaaki Bandoh, and the Motegi finale moving a week later.
It means the Motegi finale, taking place on Nov. 8, is now set to clash with the final round of the FIA World Endurance Championship calendar in Bahrain.
What had become a common date conflict was averted this year as the Motegi SUPER GT race was brought forward a week, a change that has now been reversed.
Race distances remain unannounced except for the Okayama opener, which stays at 300km, although the Sepang race is also set to remain at 300km for the second year of its three-year deal, according to event promoter HARO Sports & Entertainment.
