A 14-car entry list for this weekend’s penultimate round of the GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS season at The Bend Motorsport Park has been revealed, featuring the return of the Wall Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.
Published on Monday, the entry list features nine cars entered in the top Pro-Am class alongside four Am class competitors and a single older-spec Trophy machine.
The No. 93 Wall Racing Lamborghini that sat out the previous round at Sandown returns with its regular driving pair Adrian Deitz and Tony D’Alberto, with the latter making his first outing since the second round of the season at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Its return is balanced out by the absence of the No. 9 Hallmarc-backed Melbourne Performance Centre Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II that was billed as a one-off for Sandown.
The only other Pro-Am change from the Sandown entry concerns the No. 55 Tigani Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo as Marcel Zalloua replaces Sergio Pires alongside George King, with Pires ruled out of action by a knee injury.
Zalloua is making his second outing of the year, having previously made a cameo at Sydney in an additional Tigani Mercedes-AMG alongside Thomas Randle.
In the Am class, Grant Donaldson is poised to pilot the 111 Racing Mercedes-AMG solo in the absence of Darren Currie, while the MPC Audi Trophy class entry sees Gary Higgon return to join Matt Stoupas, replacing Paul Stokell.
Practice and pre-qualifying are set to take place on Friday ahead of qualifying proper and the opening hour-long race on Saturday, with the second race slated for Sunday.
