The No. 84 Bentley Team HTP Bentley Continental GT3 set the fastest time on the first day of the Blancpain Sprint Series test at Misano World Circuit.

One week after the Blancpain Endurance Series test at Paul Ricard, a dozen cars are at the Italian circuit for the final collective test ahead of the 2015 season.

The day started on a wet circuit, but conditions improved by the late afternoon and the 2.62-mile long and recently resurfaced circuit was deemed dry.

The No. 84 Continental GT3, driven by Harold Primat and Vincent Abril, posted a time of 1:34.222, 0.033 seconds faster than the No. 188 Fach Auto Tech Porsche 997 GT3 R of Martin Ragginger and Marcel Wagner.

Anders Fjordbach, driving the No. 74 I.S.R. Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra, finished the day in third place, posting a fastest time of 1:34.521. The Rinaldi Racing Ferrari of Marco Seefried and Norbert Siedler was fourth fastest.

Other teams testing at Misano are Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, GT Russian Team, Insightracing, Reiter Engineering and AF Corse.

The test will continue with the third four-hour session tomorrow at 9 am, followed by another four hours at 2 p.m. No rain is expected.
