The No. 75 I.S.R. Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra of Marco Bonanomi and Filip Salaquarda ended the official Blancpain Sprint Series Test Days at Misano World Circuit on top.

The Czech Audi team already tested at the track a couple of weeks ago before it was resurfaced, and used that knowledge to go quickest in the morning and afternoon sessions.

The mild temperatures and abundant sunshine were a clear improvement compared to yesterday’s mixed conditions, resulting in considerably quicker lap times.

I.S.R.’s time of 1:33.330 was only a mere 0.153s faster than the GT Russian Team Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 of Marko Asmer, followed by the second Czech Audi.

Nine out of the twelve GT3s that took part in the two-day test lapped within the same second, with the No. 84 HTP Bentley Continental GT3 and Rinaldi Racing Ferrari 458 Italia being the only cars not to better their time from yesterday.

A couple of Blancpain Sprint teams didn’t make the trip to Italy and preferred to test at other venues.

Both Phoenix Racing (Audi) and MRS GT Racing (Nissan) racked up mileage in Nogaro on Monday and Tuesday, while BMW Team Brasil tested at Portimao during the weekend.

Nogaro will be hosting the opening BSS round in two weeks time, while the series will return to the Italian track for its penultimate round in October.
