Kenton Koch went fastest in the second Pirelli GT4 America practice session at a wet Barber Motorsports Park.
The Random Vandals Racing driver turned a best lap of 1:42.859 in the 45-minute session to edge out the debuting Pro-Am class pace-setting No. 94 sister BMW M4 GT4 by 1.077 seconds.
The No. 53 AutoTechnic Racing BMW of Matt Million completed a top-three sweep by the German manufacturer.
Tom Dyer put the No. 13 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage GT4 to fourth overall, with the No. 34 JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT4 of Jake Cowden completing the top-five.
Quickest in Am went to the No. 20 Carrus Callas Raceteam BMW of Chris Walsh, who set the seventh quickest time overall.
Qualifying is next up and is scheduled for Saturday at 10:25 a.m. CDT, followed by Race 1 at 5 p.m. CDT, which will be streamed live on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and on Twitch.
