Lewis Leads Second Indy Practice

Corey Lewis led the way in the second Pirelli GT4 America practice session of the weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Smooge Racing driver turned a best lap of 1:30.250 in the Silver class No. 68 Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO to edge out Matheus Leist’s Pro-Am-ranked No. 89 RENNtech Motorsports’ Mercedes-AMG GT4 by 0.383 seconds.

Dario Capitano was third quickest in the No. 102 TPC Racing McLaren Artura GT4, followed by the No. 97 Random Vandals Racing BMW M4 GT4 and the Roman De Angelis-driven No. 24 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo.

Quickest in the Am class was the No. 20 Carrus Callas Raceteam BMW of Chris Walsh.

There were no red flags during the 45-minute session.

Qualifying is set for Friday at 9:50 a.m. EDT.
