A last-lap flyer by Marc Miller kept Dome Motorsport atop the time charts in the second Pirelli GT4 America practice session for this weekend’s pair of races at Road America.
Miller, who also led the way in the morning session, laid down a 2:16.448 lap in his No. 37 Mercedes-AMG GT4 to edge out the No. 68 RAFA Racing Team Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 of Tyler Gonzalez by a mere 0.015 seconds.
Kenton Koch was third fastest overall and second in Silver in his No. 97 Random Vandals Racing BMW M4 GT4 EVO.
Riley Dickinson and ACI Motorsports teammate Loek Hartog also both made late improvements to end up fourth and fifth quickest in their Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsports, with Matheus Leist completing the overall top-six in the No. 23 Nolasport Porsche.
Quickest in Am was the No. 98 Random Vandals Racing BMW, which slotted in tenth overall.
The session was stopped for 15 minutes after an accident by the No. 07 Skip Barber Racig BMW of Michael Garcia, whose car sustained left-front damage with in impact exiting the Carousel.
Of note, neither of the JMF Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evos set laps in the 45-minute session.
Qualifying is on tap for Saturday at 10:15 a.m. CST, followed by Race 1 at 5 p.m., which will be streamed live on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and on Twitch.
