Miller Quickest in Practice 1 at Road America

Marc Miller laid down a late flyer to put the No. 37 Dome Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4 quickest in the first Pirelli GT4 America practice session of the weekend at Road America.

Miller reeled off a chart-topping 2:16.630 late in Friday afternoon’s 45-minute session to edge out the Silver class pace-setting No. 77 VPX Motorsport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Alex Ellis by 0.239 seconds.

Matheus Leist was third quickest overall and second in Pro-Am in the No. 23 Nolasport Porsche, followed by the No. 82 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT4 EVO of Tyler McQuarrie and Kenton Koch’s No. 97 Random Vandals Racing BMW, which completed the overall top-five.

Porsche Motorsport North America Selected Driver Riley Dickinson recoded the sixth quickest time overall in the No. 7 ACI Motorsports Porsche, meanwhile.

The No. 188 Fast Track Racing BMW of Denny Stripling was quickest in the Am class with the 13th quickest time overall.

Practice 2 gets underway at 5:15 p.m. CST.
