SRO America has confirmed the make-up race from last weekend’s event at NOLA Motorsports Park will be held at Sebring International Raceway later this year, in what will become a triple-header event for Pirelli GT4 America competitors.
The opening 60-minute race of the weekend in New Orleans was pushed to Sunday due to weather delays, which subsequently forced the postponement of Race 2 to later in the season.
The race date and start time has not yet been announced, although a bulletin from the series states the weekend schedule for the Sept. 22-24 event will be posted in a “timely fashion.”
Additionally, there will not be a qualifying session for NOLA Race 2 at Sebring, with the driver listed as ‘Driver 2’ on the NOLA entry lists set to start the race as planned.
Tires that were purchased for the originally scheduled race may be used at the team’s discretion, including the option to re-allocate the tires with Pirelli.
