P1 Groupe has confirmed a switch to McLaren Artura GT4 machinery and a new service provider in Orlando Motorsports Services for its Pirelli GT4 America campaign.

As previously announced, Matt Bell and Alex Vogel will return to the team in the Pro-Am class, although will switch from Mercedes-AMG GT4 to the Artura GT4, with the support of the McLaren Orlando dealership.

P1 Groupe President Eric Burch said: “2024 saw the highs with getting Alex’s first professional win and podium at VIR and the lows with the big crash at Road America.

“The early returns with the move over to McLaren have been very positive as both drivers really like the platform.

“I am extremely happy OnlyFans is back for another season with us in SRO. They’ve been a fantastic partner the previous two seasons and looking forward to delivering for them both on and off the racetrack in 2025.”

“Working with McLaren has been awesome,” Vogel added. “I have never been as comfortable with a car in this short a time period.

“Just as they did with the Formula 1 car this last year, McLaren has developed a phenomenally engineered customer racing package with the Artura GT4 – and we saw those results as soon as we started pre-season testing this year in Sebring.

“I am confident Matt, and I will be in our best position yet to compete for wins and a championship in 2025.”

The GT4 America season kicks off at Sonoma Raceway in late March.
