More than 30 cars are expected to take part in the Pirelli GT4 America season, which gets underway later this month at Sonoma Raceway.

The SRO America-run series, which will retain its traditional format of two 60-minute races for each event, except for the three-hour Lone Star Enduro at Circuit of The Americas, is set to welcome Ford Racing back to the paddock, along with an increased contingent of BMW and Porsche GT4 machinery.

The provisional full season entry list, released on Monday, currently stands at 28 cars, but omits Nolasport’s recently confirmed Pro-Am class Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for Matheus Leist and Matt Travis, along with the most recent addition of a Mustang GT4 from LAP Motorsports in the Silver ranks.

It joins the previously announced Mustang GT4 Pro-Am efforts from TechSport Racing (Frankie Muniz/Tyler Stone) and McCumbee McAleer Racing (Jenson Altzman/Zachry Lee).

A series-high ten BMW M4 GT4 EVOs are entered, led by Random Vandals Racing, which took both the Silver and Pro-Am class titles last year, although enter the new campaign with two shuffled lineups and a new driver pairing to the Paul Sparta-led team in Am.

With Silver class champion Kenton Koch upgraded to FIA Gold driver rating, Koch moves to Pro-Am alongside defending class champion Sam Craven, with Craven’s 2025 co-driver Josh Green graduating to the top class alongside team newcomer Bruno Colombo.

Random Vandals’ Am lineup sees Judson Holt and Denny Stripling move over from fellow BMW squad Fast Track Racing, which currently doesn’t have any cars entered in the series for this year.

AutoTechnic Racing will be present in both the Silver and Pro-Am classes, with BimmerWorld in Pro-Am (Tyler McQuarrie/Michael Petramalo) and Am (James Clay/James Walker Jr.) as Clay looks to defend his class title.

Stephen Cameron Racing is set to enter a BMW in Pro-Am, again featuring Gregory Liefooghe, with Rigid Speed set to be back in the Am ranks along with a full-time return for Flying Lizard for Kris Wilson and Zach Lumdsen.

Both Flying Lizard and ACI Motorsports will have dual-manufacturer efforts, with the Darren Law-led team set to also field a McLaren Artura GT4 in the Silver class and ACI running a BMW for brothers Alex and Michael Garcia.

It is part of an expanded four-car operation for the Curt Swearingin-owned operation that sees reigning Porsche Carrera Cup North America champion and Porsche Motorsport North America selected driver Ryan Yardley make his full season GT4 debut in a Pro-Am class Porsche with Damir Hot.

Carrera Cup front-runners Jimmy Llibre and Yves Baltas will team up in ACI’s first-ever Silver class entry, while Muzaffar Gafurov and Ross Poole will share driving duties of the team’s Am car.

While newcomers to SRO America, Kellymoss will be out in force also in GT4 America with three Porsches (Ashley Freiberg/Loni Unser) and (Erika Hoffmann/Jack Parriott) both in Silver and (Eric Filgueiras/Tom Kopczynski) in Pro-Am).

In addition to the Flying Lizard McLaren, Blackdog Racing (Michael Cooper/Tony Gaples) will be joined by newcomers Advance Motorsport with 18-year-old Austin Jurs the only confirmed driver so far in a likely Silver class entry.

RAFA Racing Team will have a pair of Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2s, with Silver and Pro-Am class entries.

A third Toyota will see fan favorite Ryan Eversley make his full-time series return alongside Karl Forman in a LA Honda World Racing, which will battle for Pro-Am honors.

While Dome Motorsport returns with Marc Miller and Ed Killeen, a second Mercedes-AMG GT4 will feature with newcomers Off-Leash Motorsports in Silver with Harry Gottsacker and Kevin Clifford as drivers.

Finally, Racers Edge Motorsports, under new ownership, will return to GT4 America after numerous years in GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, running an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo with yet-to-be-confirmed drivers.

The most notable absence from the provisional entry list is JMF Motorsports, which claimed wins with its pair of Aston Martins last year but is instead expected to focus on an increased two-car effort in GTWC America.

Thunder Bunny Racing, which made a mid-season switch from Toyota to BMW machinery last year, is also not currently on the entry list, and neither is VPX Motorsport, Van der Steur Racing or P1 Groupe.

Heart of Racing Team, meanwhile, has exited SRO America competition, which has seen its long-running Vantage GT4 shift to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge with the all-female lineup of Hannah Grisham and Hannah Greenemeier.

Additional GT4 America entries are expected, at least on a race-by-race basis, as well as in the build-up to the March 26-28 season opener in California.
