Thompson Leads First Sebring Practice

Parker Thompson laid down a 2:11.097 lap time to go quickest in the first Pirelli GT4 America practice session of the weekend at Sebring International Raceway.

The Hanley Motorsports driver’s lap time in the No. 999 Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO was 0.130 seconds quicker than the No. 28 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Eric Filgueiras, who ended up second quickest.

Jonathan Neudorf was third in the No. 23 TechSport Racing Nissan Z NISMO GT4, also in the Silver class.

Pro-Am was led by Max Root in the No. 9 Blackdog Speed Shop Nissan, thanks to a 2:11.543 lap set by Root, who is subbing for Michael Cooper this weekend.

The No. 51 AutoTechnic Racing BMW M4 GT4 of Zac Anderson completed the top-five in the 45-minute session, which ran without any red flags.

Jaden Lander was quickest in the Am class in his No. 099 Rotek Racing Porsche, which set the 14th quickest time overall.

The second and final GT4 America practice session is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. EDT.
