High Class Racing will make its Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour debut next February, confirming the entry of a Porsche 911 GT3 R for its first shot at the Intercontinental GT Challenge season opener.

Founded in 1990, the Danish team comes with vast experience in top-flight endurance racing, including multiple starts in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Rolex 24 at Daytona, FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

It won the 2021 GT2 European Series and has recently been active in the Michelin Le Mans Cup and Asian Le Mans Series, fielding LMP3 entries, winning the final race of the 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series season in Abu Dhabi.

High Class has already confirmed Kerong Li as its first driver, although team owner Anders Fjordbach’s name also appears on the team’s livery render.

Hailing from Xi’an, China, Silver-rated Li contested a full WeatherTech Championship season in 2024 with MDK Motorsports in the GTD class, and this year gained further experience of Porsche machinery in GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS and the Suzuka 1000km driving for Origine Motorsport.

The remainder of the team’s driver lineup will be announced in due course.

High Class has shown off a distinct red and white livery for its Bathurst 12H debut, with nods to iconic Porsche designs of the past.

The No. 86 car is entered in the Bronze category, which is shaping as an intensely competitive ‘race within a race’ with BMW outfit Team KRC and Tsunami RT, which will also field a Porsche 911 GT3 R, already confirmed for the class.
