JMR Johor Racing has received a brand-new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R chassis ahead of next month’s Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, which has seen several cars already en route to Mount Panorama through SRO Motorsports Group’s logistics partner.

A fresh Pratt Miller-built Corvette was air-freighted from Chicago O’Hare International Airport earlier this week to Luxembourg, where it was joined with 75 Express’ Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, which last contested the Intercontinental GT Challenge season-ending Indianapolis 8 Hour presented by AWS and originated in Atlanta.

The two cars were then combined on a car rack and trucked to Amsterdam, where it was loaded into a Singapore Airlines cargo plane en route to Sydney, via Singapore.

Sportscar365 understands that the Malaysian squad now has a total of six Corvette chassis at its disposal, which have been dispatched around the world for its various programs, including its ongoing 2025-26 Asian Le Mans Series campaign.

A number of other cars from Europe, including Tsunami RT’s Porsche 911 GT3 R, are also now also en route courtesy of IGTC’s partner JAS Worldwide Logistics.

The Italian squad’s Porsche, however, made a detour to the Middle East to take part in the Michelin 24H Dubai, where it was then flown direct from Dubai to Sydney on an Emirates cargo plane.

The Feb. 13-15 event will mark the Bathurst debuts for both the Corvette and Ford Mustang GT3, fielded by JMR and HRT Ford Racing, respectively.

As previously announced, the trio of GM-contracted drivers Nicky Catsburg, Alexander Sims and Earl Bamber will drive JMR’s Pro class-entered Corvette, while Ford Racing factory aces Dennis Olsen and Christopher Mies will join Australian Supercars star Broc Feeney in the Mustang.

JMR will additionally field a second Corvette in the Pro-Am class.
