Talbot Fastest in Final Bronze Practice

Liam Talbot put his Jamec Racing/Team MPC Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II on top of the time sheets in the fourth practice session of the day at Mount Panorama, and the final Bronze-only session ahead of Sunday’s Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour.

Talbot reeled off a best lap of 2:05.093 to edge out the No. 75 SunEnergy1 Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Kenny Habul by 0.863 seconds.

Yasser Shahin made a late session improvement to third in the No. 91 Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R, demoting Brad Schumacher to fourth in his No. 36 Arise Racing GT Ferrari 296 GT3.

Ian James completed the top-five in the No. 27 Heart of Racing by SPS Mercedes-AMG, ahead of Stephen Grove in sixth in his No. 4 Grove Racing Mercedes-AMG.

Practice resumes on Saturday at 8:35 a.m. local time (Friday, 4:35 p.m. ET).
